This deposit shows various types of thunderegg ryolitic nodules. No precious play of colors.



USA opals :

USA opals results mainly from states of Oregon, Nevada, Utah and Idaho. Concerning the state of Oregon, the opal is found in geodes of rhyolite. Only 1 % of geodes contain opal with a play of colors. The remaining of geodes contain agate, quartz crystal or common opal.
